Crystal: Battle Tower Glitch

There's a very annoying glitch in Battle Tower. This glitch decreases the Special Attack of the first Pokemon in my Party to 0 after the first battlle and for the rest of the battles! This glitch gives me handicap on building a team of three Pokemon as it leaves me no choice but to put a Physical Attacker or a Support Pokemon on the lead spot. The Special Attack stat will only return to normal when deposited to the PC or left to the daycare. I tried downloading different crystal games but the glitch is still pressent. I hope this problem will come to the attention of our hard working hackers. If you know of a crystal game without this problem then please let me know. Thank you.
